“Three things in my life saved me from going down a path of misery and depression:  my mother, God, and the staff (at Headway)…With each struggle I face now, I am filled with the courage and skills to take a healthy approach to fixing whatever it is that is I am having trouble with.”

Ellie has been with Headway since January, 2019. She has past experience working with children and adolescents who have cognitive and physical disabilities, and is currently pursuing a degree at Minnesota State University - Mankato. As a mental health worker intern in our day treatment program, she enjoys building relationships with students and their families while working with them to ensure the day treatment community stays safe and runs smoothly. "I hope to enable the students to reach their goals and successfully complete treatment," she says.

When she is not working, Ellie enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, and working out.
