Katie has been with Headway since November, 2018 and has worked in the human services field since 2012. She has experience working with a wide variety of populations, including children with mental health and physical health issues as well as adults with mental health issues of a variety of backgrounds and diversities. As a case manager, she works to address the mental health needs of children and their families to help maintain and improve functioning in the community. She also helps to coordinate services and collaborate with families to help focus on the needs of children. She uses a person-centered approach, prioritizing listening to her clients and putting them first, thus focusing on their strengths and figuring out ways to help to make a difference and make a positive change in their lives.

When she is not working, Katie enjoys traveling both in the states as well as overseas. She enjoys hiking, yoga, kickboxing, paddleboarding, exploring new vegan restaurants, and hanging out with her dog, Aspen.
