What's New

Our 2018 School Supply Drive is on!

Help us stock 200+ backpacks to disperse to kids in need throughout the Twin Cities – and help them feel confident and ready for their school year.

You can donate via Amazon, or drop off wish list items at our Richfield or Golden Valley locations.

All donations are greatly appreciated and truly help kids start the school year off right!

“Michael had no long term horizon, didn’t care about anything, was disengaged and had no foundation to start the recovery journey… Today he is a productive senior in HS involved in extra-curricular activities and thinking about college. (Headway) gave us traction, a positive track record of real accomplishments and new beginning.”

Kimberly has been with Headway since August, 2018 and has worked in the human services field since 2010. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of St Thomas and St Catherine University. She has past experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, and currently works outside of Headway as a case manager for adults diagnosed with developmental disabilities. As an Intern, School Based Therapy, she works with youth in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades, as well as their families. She enjoys seeing her clients gain insight, experience growth, and overcome adversity. "I partner alongside students and their families in therapeutic relationships to provide a safe place, support, and guidance as they work through emotions, adversity, and any other challenges they are facing," she says. "My goal is to provide hope and encouragement while, most importantly, being a safe place for students to work through tough issues."

In her spare time, Kimberly enjoys running, tennis, volleyball, camping, hiking, kayaking, playing violin, black coffee, dogs, cribbage, and exploring new places.
