Testimonials

"My staff (at Sioux Trail Elementary) have been sharing about Headway's training sessions. Teachers come back from the trainings excited to try new strategies and they have new understanding regarding mental health issues. This is making a difference in their classrooms and helping them relate to students when they are struggling."

Liz has provided mental health services to a wide spectrum of clients; from preschool-aged kids and at-risk teenagers to adults with serious and persistent mental illness. She joined Headway’s school-based team in March, 2014 to support children, teens, and their families. “For me,” she says, “It’s meaningful to engage with kids across the education continuum. I’m honored to help students learn new coping skills, find strength within themselves and build their self-confidence.”

Outside of work, Liz loves obtaining new stamps on her passport, cooking and baking, snowboarding, and spending time with her family and friends.
