Who We Serve

Life does not come with a manual. But Headway can help. Each day, Headway Emotional Health Services touches the lives of hundreds of people in the Twin Cities area, helping them overcome obstacles in their lives through treatment, intervention and education. If you are facing challenges in your personal or family life -- such as parenting issues, divorce, a troubled marriage, a difficult teen, domestic violence, mental health issues, drug abuse, etc. -- Headway can help.

Children and Adolescents

Headway offers many outpatient, in-school and other comprehensive options for youth experiencing difficulties in their family life and at school.  Services include Day Treatment, play therapy, testing and assessment, sexual abuse treatment, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitzation Reprocessing. more


Our services, programs and education for adults run the gamut from outpatient therapy to sexual abuse treatment, DBT, EMDR, men's anger management and domestic violence counseling, among others. more

Couples and Families

Our divorce education programs and outpatient therapy give couples and families the support they need when experiencing troubled times or family transitions. more
