In the fallout of the recent riots and protests, there is an increased need for basic necessities among people living in South Minneapolis, including many of our clients. Neighborhood grocery and convenience stores have said they will not be ready to reopen until December, and many who live in the affected areas have unreliable or no transportation.

To help, Headway will be collecting items to distribute to our clients in need. Our staff members have reached out to clients to determine how many need help and what their specific needs are.

We will be gathering things at both our Richfield location:

Richfield:
6425 Nicollet Ave.
Richfield, MN 55423

Staff will hand out donations the week of August 9. During the weeks of August 2 and 9 we will start collecting perishable food items to give out as well.

To donate to our drive, please choose from the lists below and bring them to the lobbies of our Richfield location. If you would rather donate funds, we have a fundraiser set up on our GiveMN page. You can access that here.

We appreciate your dedication to the clients of Headway!
