A Little About Amy’s Role

Amy joined our team in August 2020 and has worked in the human services field for over 15 years.  She has past experience as a mental health practitioner, school social work intern, operations director, and preschool teacher, and has clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families in school, in-home, and residential settings.  As a mental health therapist within our school-based programs, she works with elementary-age children in a school setting and likes getting to know school staff and her clients and building strong relationships to support the school community.  She also enjoys working with students to help them discover what works best for them to thrive both at school and at home, and then sharing those discoveries with family and school staff to provide comprehensive support for the student.

When she is not working, Amy loves music!  She sings in a choir and was in a concert band playing flute and alto sax.  She also plays drums in a rock band with friends.  In addition to music, she loves reading, biking, and spending time in nature.
