A Little About Ayesha’s Role

Ayesha joined Headway in June 2021 and has worked in human services since 2019. She has experience working with diverse populations including, youth needing crisis shelter in St. Paul, MN, women experiencing domestic violence and Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) Communities at the Arlington House Youth Shelter. As a mental health worker Ayesha works alongside the rest of the Day Treatment team to support students on their healing journey dealing with mental health concerns and trauma. She says, “I work to empower youth as an expert of their own lives and handle their mental health concerns with care. I hope to strengthen communities to have the tools to be their own kind of successful.”

In her spare time, Ayesha enjoys pottery, powerlifting, traveling, environmental sustainability/justice and math, yes math.
