Cassandra Beyers, MA - Therapist, Anoka-Hennepin
A Little About Cassandra’s Role
Cassandra has been with Headway since January 2019 and has worked in human services since 2012. She has past experience working in a level 4 school setting, day treatment, and in-home therapy and has competencies in play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy. She specializes in trauma-informed work and autism, issues related to sexuality, adoption, anxiety, and grief and loss. She works with children and their families in a school-based setting, and hopes to provide a space for children and families to work through adversity and foster resiliency through authenticity, compassion, gratitude, creativity, and play. “I am privileged to be an advocate for children and to partner with families and teachers in order to bring about systematic changes,” she says.
When she is not working, Cassandra loves spending time outdoors camping, hiking, biking, playing soccer, and gardening. She also likes to cook with her husband, travel, practice yoga, and read.Back to all team members
