A Little About Christie’s Role

Christie has held various positions at Youable Emotional Health since joining the organization in 2007. She has a wide range of clinical experience, with direct experience and expertise in school-based mental health. She feels very passionately about the partnership between schools and mental health services and believes this collaboration creates healthier students, families, schools, and communities. She hopes that her team can not only bring direct therapeutic services to schools in the Anoka-Hennepin district, but also bring tools for providing overall support and awareness of student mental health. “I feel greatly honored to be in a role where I am given the opportunity to support the powerful work our school-based team is doing every day with young people,” she says.

In her spare time, Christie enjoys being outdoors – walking, biking, and gardening – as well as reading, cooking, and getting together with friends and family.
