A Little About Ciara’s Role

Ciara joined the Youable team in August 2020 and has worked in the human services field since 2015.  She has past experience as a mental health practitioner for children and adults and served as a member of a mobile crisis team.  She completed graduate internships in a day treatment program and a birth-to-three clinic and early childhood mental health program where she primarily worked with children from birth to five and their caregivers.  As a school-based therapist, she works with children, adolescents, and families in a school setting.  “One of my favorite aspects of my position is the opportunity to work with and help advocate for children and families in the public education system,” she says.  “I hope that I can not only have an impact on the clients I see face to face, but that I can contribute to developing a more equitable education system for all children.”

When she is not working, Ciara loves to travel and spend quality time with friends and family.  She also loves dogs and being outdoors and enjoys playing all kinds of cards and board games.
