Elaine Gregg, MA - Therapist
A Little About Elaine’s Role
Elaine joined Headway in October 2019 and has worked in human services since 2016. She has past experience in a child day treatment with children aged two to seven, outpatient therapy with children and teens, and family therapy, including in-home. As a school-based therapist, she works in a school setting collaborating with families, teachers, and school staff to best meet the mental health needs of the students. She often uses developmental repair, play therapy, CBT, and person-centered therapy models. “I hope to build strong, meaningful relationships with my students and their families in order to help empower and support them in overcoming the challenges they may face,” she says. “I also want to educate school staff and help them become better able to identify mental health needs in students.”
When she is not working, Elaine enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, playing on a summer volleyball league, watching sports, and spending time with her husband, friends, and puppy.
