Elizabeth Miller - Mental Health Worker
A Little About Elizabeth’s Role
Elizabeth has been with Headway since July 2018 and has worked in human services for over 10 years. She has past experience working for a nonprofit youth ministry organization, as a doctor’s assistant in two medical offices, and as a high school girl’s volleyball coach. She has worked with all ranges of school-aged kids in both school and outdoor settings, and has over 15 years of experience mentoring and leading students in group settings and one-on-one. As a Mental Health Worker, she works in our Adolescent Day Treatment program with adolescents and their families. She leads skills groups to better equip the students in the program so that they may learn ways to cope with a variety of issues and learn to manage their behavior. “I am a positive role model in helping adolescents and their families discover their strengths and ways to cope with mental health issues effectively,” she says.
Outside of work, Elizabeth loves spending time outdoors. She enjoys playing and coaching volleyball, reading and journaling, and hanging out with her husband and friends.Back to all team members
