District 191

A Little About Hannah’s Role

Hannah joined Headway in November, 2020, and has worked in the human services field since 2012.  She has past experience working as a therapist for youth and families and an advocate for families at a domestic violence center.  She is experienced in person-centered therapy, strengths-based, solutions-focused, narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.  As a therapist within our school-based program, she works with children in fifth to eighth grade in a middle school setting.  “I love working with kids because they know so much, and I get to be someone in their life who helps them to build confidence in what they know and learn how to exist more fully as themselves,” she says.  “I also love getting to collaborate with the caregivers in a young person’s life and support them with strengthening and celebrating their relationships as much as possible.”

When she is not working, Hannah enjoys dancing, listening to music, painting, reading, cooking, playing with her cat, and hanging out with her spouse.
