Jenna Soderbeck, MA, LPCC - Outpatient Coordinator

Brooklyn Center

A Little About Jenna’s Role

Jenna joined Headway in October 2019 and has worked in the human services field since 2012. She has past experience at other mental health organizations within the Twin Cities and works with children, adults, teens, and families. She has extensive experience working with individuals with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, as well as individuals who have a severe and persistent mental illness such as borderline personality disorder, major depressive disorder, and bipolar disorder. She also has worked with individuals who have an anxiety disorder diagnosis, and has competencies in cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused/brief therapy, narrative therapy, and play therapy. “I help families and clients understand what their needs are and give them answers and ways to improve on their mental health,” she says. “I provide others with a voice and space to share their concerns and needs, and address them therapeutically so that they may bring those skills into their lives outside of sessions.”

When she is not working, Jessica enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, playing and snuggling with her two cats, and going for walks with her husband. She also enjoys collecting and listening to vintage records, and playing games (board, card, or video).
