A Little About Kevin’s Role

Kevin joined Headway in August, 2020, and has worked in the human services field for over 22 years.  He has experience working in public schools, and within Ramsey County as a cognitive behavioral specialist and community corrections worker.  He has worked with at-risk teens, school-aged children, and families, as well as youth and adults experiencing homelessness.  As supervisor of community services, he works within a school setting serving children and their families.  “I try to help students to realize their true potential”, he says.  “I help students understand the responsibility they carry for themselves, their families, and the communities in which they live.  I try to be a positive role model and a resource that encourages positive individual growth.”

When he is not working, Kevin likes watching, playing, and coaching basketball, and has coached girls’ youth traveling basketball for five years.  He also enjoys reading.
