Kristen Jackson, MA, LPCC - Mental Health Therapist

District 191

A Little About Kristen’s Role

Kristen joined Headway in October, 2020, and has worked in the human services field since 2015.  She has previous experience in in-home skills work with children and their families, at a day treatment site, doing family and individual therapy, and group therapy and skills with children with autism.  As a therapist within our school-based program, she works with elementary-aged students and their families in a school setting.  “I love to work with children of all ages, helping them to succeed both at school and at home,” she says.  “I work closely with my students and their families in order to create lasting change in the family system as well as work closely with teachers and school staff to ensure my clients have the ability to be as successful as they can be.”

When she is not working, Kristen loves spending time with her two dogs, and working on arts and crafts projects.
