A Little About Noureen’s Role

Noureen joined Headway in September 2013 as an outpatient therapist and has worked in the human services field since 2008. She has experience working with clients who have a dual diagnosis of severe and persistent mental illness and chemical dependency, domestic violence, sexual abuse/sexual assault victims, and other trauma issues. Her areas of focus include cultural responsiveness, trauma, dissociative identity disorder, depression, and anxiety, in addition to providing therapy and clinical supervision. Her clinical competencies include DBT, Sand Tray, EMDR, and AIRNet. As a Manager of Clinical Operations, her role is to develop our providers and systems so that we are able to provide support to clients in alignment with our mission of empowering people of all ages to live an emotionally healthy life. “My goal is to help clinicians incorporate authenticity in their work of walking with clients in their journey of transformation,” she says.

Outside of work, Noureen enjoys spending time with her family. Her children remind her that we are all interconnected and that the work of each one of us is to create a world in which we want to live and raise our families.
