A Little About Teri’s Role
Teri has been with Headway since August 2018 and has worked in human services for over 22 years. She has past experience as a day treatment therapist, in-home skills worker, individual therapist and psychometrist, community mental health therapist intern, and worked in adolescent residential services. She has specialties in cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma-focused approaches to therapy and has worked with clients of all ages, including children and adolescents who qualify as having mental health diagnoses, children diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum, adult women victims of physical, mental, and sexual abuse, and families in conflict or crisis. She brings an understanding of the unique challenges of building a team as well as experience bridging relationships between different systems to assist in providing the best collaborative care possible for individuals participating in receiving the services.
In her spare time, Teri enjoys being outdoors, walking her dog, hiking, boating, camping and kayaking, practicing yoga, and meditation.Back to all team members
