“I've worked with Headway for over ten years and the quality of the services they provide to youth and their family has been excellent. The staff genuinely care about their clients and want them to be successful…they hold their young clients accountable for their behavior.

Wendy has been with Headway since September, 2018 and has worked in the human services field since 2012. She has past experience working in a hospital setting in inpatient mental health, with adolescents in a residential mental health treatment program, and with children in an autism day treatment program. As a therapist within the Vision program, she works with children and their families to help them learn and grow through their struggles. "I provide support for my clients and their families as we work together to help them learn and persevere," she says. "I also work to build and strengthen relationships between myself, teachers, and staff as we work as a team to help our students."

Outside of work, Wendy enjoys going for walks around the lakes, hiking, biking, kayaking, and simply being outside. She also enjoys coloring, cooking, baking, crocheting, gardening, spending time with friends and family, playing games, and watching movies.
